Hi Shreya, I am lopa and I am writing to you from Kuwait, Middle east. I am a great fan of yours and I really admire your music and your voice. In middle east, you have loads of fans.
I am a student of music too and I have been learning for about 9 years now. I want to take up music as my career just as you have. Well, I have lived practically all my life in middle east, and unlike India, Middle east does not offer Indian students any platform to expose their talents. Having learnt music for 9 years now, I really don’t want it to go waste now, the very thought of it really upsets me, I am in the 11th std now and have no idea how to get started. Any advice from you will be highly appreciated. I know you are a very busy person. It is infact you who have influenced me to take up my music seriously, so absolutely any advice will be highly appreciated.
I listen to your Bengali albums too (I am a Bengali) and one of my favourite Bengali song from your your album Kotha diye elena is Jeevana Gaan. I also love the songs of Devdas and Jism (I’ve heard them for over 20 times and I think they are absolute classics).
Also, heartiest congratulations for all the awards that you’ve won!!! Keep up the good work, and all the best for everything.
