Hello!
I am continuing on updating of this website from where I had left two years back. Due to my sheer laziness, I lost this site and was waiting for the right moment to get it back. Shreya’s voice is truly amazing. I have been enjoying all these years. She is been improving constantly.

Angel, Gods gift to earth (India only), what more i can say ?? No words.
I heard most of her South Indian songs (Telugu). Everytime when i find a song so sweet, i look for singer name on internet. she is none other than Shreya. whether song is a melody, a sad, a devotional or a fast beat, she sings so great such that nobody can sing as sweet.
manytimes i relaxed hearing to her songs. mood changes immediately as she start singing, feels like 10000 volts of energy flowing in me. thank god shreya born in india, for her fance.

Hi,
I have become a hard core fan of Shreya Ghoshal. Her voice is definitely a gift from above and one of the sweetest singing voices I have heard in my entire life.
Her voice definitely touched and even cried (tears of joy) listening to her songs. I have watched her singing in one of Ilayaraja’s shows. I live in NJ, US and hope I would get an opportunity to meet her in person.
God bless her and all the best to her.
Cheers

Idol of Indian hearts
It’s not every weekend you are in a deep sleep on a Saturday morning and your friend is tuning radio to India’s hottest FM station…!!
“You are a big bore, aren’t you?” she said, “Listen to this program; I love Shreya’s songs like anything!!” She added like she and Shreya have known each other since they were child.
Yeah, It was Pune’s 98.3 FM Radio Mirchi, that She tuned. I was listening to track “Jadu hai Nasha hai……….” and Shreya Ghoshal was on the line with RJ Aditi on the hottest station. Trust me; you can realize a quality of a singer when you hear him/her without background Music and without Chorus.
It all began in 2002. Being a huge fan of Music I had bought the ‘Devdas’ audio cassette on the day of its music release itself. Was really surprised to see an unfamiliar name against majority of the tracks. To be honest, a bit apprehensive if it would be worth the buy.
Needless to say, what followed was a dumbfound hour & a half, when I memorized by the vocal prowess of the rank newcomer, Shreya Ghoshal. “Once in a blue moon…..” was my first impression about the immense talent of the singer.
Later on, I learnt story that the director spotted this young talent in a Musical Talent Hunt. She caught the attention of film director “Sanjay Leela Bhansali” when she participated in “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” for a second time, This time competing against adults.
He offered for her first commercial song “Bairee Piya…..” as a play back singer for the lead female character of his film Devdas, Shreya sang five songs in the film.
Further later, I read that she awarded with National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for “Bairee Piya…..”.
That spotted my attention towards this very young talent. Later on, I listened and enjoyed many more hit songs from the movies Jism, Khakee, Munnabhai MBBS followed.
“Chan Chan maan Gaye kyo….” was the song that re-introduced “Shreya Ghoshal” to me.
That was the time when I became her fan.
Later, I followed each of her release very eagerly and I was blissful everytime, yeah I mean it, Everytime.
“Old is Gold…..”I heard always but on the other side we should always keep in mind that for being an Old Gold, you have to be New first. A determined “Piyu Bole…”, “Leja Leja…”, “Barso Re…”, “Yeh Ishq Hai….”, “Dhoom Tana….”, and the list is endless for the proof.
Shreya is the epitome of her dedication and God-Gifted Talent.
And yes……My Idol………and Perhaps: Idol of many Indian hearts………..!!
